The Project ("we", "us") is a trading mentorship operated by Josh Painter, San Antonio, Texas, USA. You can reach us by messaging us in The Project Discord server. By buying access or using the member site, you agree to these terms.
A purchase gives you personal access to The Project mentorship: recorded lessons, trade breakdowns, homework and announcements on the member site, and the related channels in our Discord server. Access is tied to your Discord account and the member roles we give it. Which chapters you can open depends on the roles included in your purchase.
Access is purchased through a separate checkout outside this site. The price, billing schedule and payment method are shown there at the time of purchase, and any subscription is managed and cancelled where you bought it. This site doesn't take payments or store card details.
All sales are final. We don't offer refunds, including for partial use, unused time, or if you decide the mentorship isn't for you. Because lessons and materials are available as soon as access is granted, please make sure the mentorship is right for you before buying.
All lessons, videos, breakdowns, homework, notes and branding belong to us or our licensors. You may watch them for your own learning. You may not record, download, copy, resell, share, publish or teach from them, or use them to build a competing product, without our written permission.
The Project is education only. Nothing in the lessons, breakdowns, homework, Discord channels or anything else we provide is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Trading futures, forex, stocks and other markets involves substantial risk of loss and isn't suitable for everyone. You can lose more than you put in. Past results, whether real or hypothetical, don't guarantee future results, and examples shown in lessons are for illustration. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and results.
We may suspend or end your access, without refund, if you break these terms, including sharing your account, recording or redistributing content, or abusing other members. You can stop using the service at any time.
We may add, change or remove lessons and features over time. If we stop running the mentorship entirely, we'll give reasonable notice. No refunds are given in that case.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and any disputes will be handled exclusively by the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, post an announcement on the member site or in Discord. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
